This place is almost always crowded. Whenever I go to coffeeshops I like it cozy and when I've come here lately, it's been crowded and it's hard to find a place to sit down.
I find coffee shops my third place environment, somewhere away from home and workplace, some place I can sit down and clear my thoughts and to study (expect tables to be extremely small and 1 table won't fit a laptop & books)
The place is crowded and kinda small.
ALSO the food is totally overpriced and it's not that great. Whenever I go to samba I usually go to Grimaldi's or Wahoo's for food because the food isn't that great. I've tried a couple of the sandwiches and the lentil soup which are just mediocre, nothing special but the prices are like 9+ and their quiches are about $7-8 and they're just OK.
Their macarons aren't the best in town and I recommend going to patisserie manon for macarons AND quiches. (patisserie manon is literally 2 min away) Quiches are FIVE dollars at patisserie and they are actually good, since that place IS a french bakery so they make it there fresh daily.
SO for food --MEH and the crowdedness, 3 stars because they do have really good drip coffee.
Their lattes are overpriced and they are pretty good because of the quality and freshness of the espresso.
About a year ago, I would have given this place 5 stars. It was my "go to" when I wanted to kick back at a coffee shop. But now that everyone knows of this place, it is just too congested.
