  • I don't get the hype here at all. The first time I ever ate Pho was in the home of a Vietnamese friend. A few years later, #1 Pho opens up in Cleveland and that got me very excited. "Hooray!" I thought, expecting a delicious soup similar to the one my friend made. No, no, no! #1 Pho's pho (huh?!) was greasy, greasy, greasy!! Yuck. Granted, it's been a few years for me. But when I visited this restaurant, I vowed to never return. Thank goodness I live in California now, where good Pho is plentiful.
