rev:text	When I was looking for an apartment to live in after I finished up with the short sale of my home I thought I had found the perfect place to live. During the application and move in process they were warm and very hospitable. I lived here for 8 months and upon move out they inspected my apartment to assess the place and any damage that they would charge me for. I completely expect a few charges for normal wear and tear and even having a dog in the apartment. They claim to have put new carpet in the unit before I moved in. My dog had a little throw up accident in the spare bedroom (against the wall) which I tried to clean up - it couldn't have been more than a square foot of space that was affected. I received an invoice in the mail for over $1000!! This was even after they subtracted the pet deposit of $200!! They accused me of BLEACHING the carpet in that ONE small area against the wall and because of that they had to replace the ENTIRE carpet in the unit. They told me that if they only replaced one room it wouldn't match the rest of the carpet. After 8 months how bad could it be?! I asked them what the pet deposit is for if it's not for them to shampoo the carpet or fix a few damaged spots here and there and they told me it just goes towards any damage. I have had the same dog in a few different apartment complexes and I have NEVER been charged for more than a carpet shampoo or a 1 room replacement which I can understand. I would NOT refer anyone to any Picerne Managed Properties to be Nickel & Dimed in the end. I hope people find this review helpful! Thank You! Stephanie Las Vegas, NV
