  • ***2.5 Stars*** I met up with friends on Friday night for dinner. This Alice Fazooli's location has been renovated and it is more bar-like dining experience. The 5 of us where seated in a round table in one of the corners of the restaurant. Food Appetizer - Calamari - excellent, not greasy and side sauces. Only downside that it could be a bigger portion to share. Mains - Large Caesar salad - sub par, the croutons were nonexistent, the salad could have used a bit more dressing. Fettuccine Di Mare - the seafood was abundant but the sauce was very watery. An ok pasta dish, fresh pasta was not used. Service Unfortunately, we did not have great service that evening. It felt like our server did not want to be at work. He forgot to bring a bowl for our mussels for our seafood pasta. He cleared plates while there was still food that we were consuming. Side note - you can learn Italian when you head to the washroom. I thought was neat. Overall, the place is an ok night out. Like all chains, food is ok as is the service.
