| - Incredible that this co.gets almost all 5-star reviews. I had some small jobs inside the house so called Daniel. His voice mail says to text him. I did and soon enough a guy called saying Daniel told him to. He asked for photos of the pics I needed to hang and desk that I needed to move "so that [he] could "give a price." I then mentioned roof and rock repair job that I liked him to look at. He said he'd only be able to do the small jobs on first visit and I said fine. Then he gave me a price of $625 "for everything." He said he meant that to include the roof and rock repair job which he had not looked at. Sounds fishy there. He set up a quick appointment a few days later, on Wed. On the eve of it he wanted to "postpone" and said he was fully booked except 5pm-7pm for rest of the week or on Sunday. It began to sound like he really wanted to get out of the job as there's no way he could repair the roof and rocks and do the little jobs inside the house all in one evening. Then after I told him I had taken care of the little jobs inside the house myself (as I wasn't to move the large table as originally thought), he said he would come on Sunday and it'd be $350 "in front." I told him I never pay a stranger more than half in front and esp. considering he hadn't even looked at the roof and rock repair job, I wasn't.going to pay him even half for just showing up. Then he said he wanted the entire price in front. End of him, but I couldn't believe that was the end of Daniel's.co as.I had seem all the 5 stars! I called Daniel within half an hour and this time he answered after 1 ring. Now he said that other guy wasn't from his co but a friend. He first said he gave the little jobs to his friend as he didn't.do it himself. Then he said he'd have his employee call me to come look at them. I told him I only needed the roof and rock jobs done by then. Soon enough, his "employee" Nic called and later in the day he came to look at the jobs. He talked to Daniel, so he said, while he was here and measured the roof and looked at the rocks. Next day he brought back a roofer to look at the same. He said he gave estimates of the price, but also says Daniel has to give the price and write up a proposal for the rock work. He started saying the price was going to be "high", "very expensive" because they want to do perfect work and they do perfect job and give warranty. I said just talk to Daniel and get back to me with the subtotals and total and we'd go from there. He continued to repeat that it's.going to be expensive, blah blah blah, incessantly. Sat. & Sun went and I heard nothing. Mon I called Daniel and his voice mail says to text him again. I did, he did not respond until many hrs later after.I contacted Nic and listened to him again about why the price for the rock job was going to be high and Daniel would need to write a proposal because blah blah blah. When Daniel called, he said he wasn't.sure about the rock job, but wanted $600+ for just the roof repair (which the roofer the other day had indicated, and Nic agreed, would be a small, quick job). I told him what I thought about the roof job and he said he wanted to send a "professional roofer" to come look at it. End with Daniel there.
