Wow. What a memorable dining experience; if I could give six stars, I would. This gem is hidden from the street and you wouldn't know it was there if it weren't for the interwebs! It can be a little disorienting finding a place to park and finding the restaurant for the first time, but once you are past that, who cares? The charm of the place is the courtyard-patio dinning experience with live music and lights strung everywhere. Wonderful character that I don't see often in PHX. I appreciated that the hostess asked if we wanted to be seated closer or further from the live music; she cared about our preferences for noise. It does get a little noisy with the live music and that it is full of patrons, but nothing that bothered me. I enjoyed the live music and it added to my experience; it wasn't too loud. My meal was excellent and looked very colorful to the eye. The chicken dish was extremely tasty, and so were the sides (salad and black beans). I couldn't believe how the black beans tasted, I had never tasted anything like it. The entree was fairly spicy, but not too spicy. I really wish I had room for dessert, so next time I will definitely order appropriately. My dinner date left a yelp review to get a discount on our meal and there was no trouble at all from the server. Also, I must add, our food came so fast that we were shocked.
