  • If you are vacationing in Mesa for the Winter, but plan to leave before April 1, don't volunteer for any major PGA or LPGA events at Longbow. I was told that if I volunteered for at least 3 shifts in one event, I'd get a free round of golf at Longbow. As it turned out, I worked 4 shirts and when I given my certificate for a free round of golf, it did take affect until sometime in mid-April. Nowhere in any of the information I read did it state that the free round of golf was good until mid-April. To make a long story short, I lost out on the golf because we headed back up north March 31. My advice to you........read the small print and get clarification before you volunteer. Have a nice day.
