We arrived to the Rio pumped and excited for Penn and Teller's show.
So excited so that we showed up almost two hours prior to show time.
After exploring the confines of the hotel for 15 minutes or so, and finding an absurdly oversize drink for the girlfriend.. we decided to grab a bite to eat from the deli at the sports book.
Naturally in the search of far more comfortable chairs, we headed into the sports book and popped a squat.
I work at a sports statistics company, and so I am used to watching three and four screens at once... but this sports mecca was almost too much to me. 30 or so screens, each with something different on them.
The NBA playoffs were on.. and the team with the most racist owner was playing and that situation had just broke so the whole room was chatting about it. The seating was incredibly comfortable which make sense as you want people to just sit back and let the drinks fly.
It's clean tidy and full of screens. What more could a sports fan ask for?
