This was our 4th or 5th time at Todd's. We like it, especially their scallops when they're on the menu.
So, I'll start with the seating and service. We were seated next to the bar -an undesirable location, especially since the restaurant was not very busy.
The service is usually stellar but fell short this time with very slow table-clearing, and a very slow initial drink order.
We enjoyed the crab cake and Asian dumping appetizers, the fish chowder was very tasty, and my wife and son's fish main course was very well prepared. I tried the meatloaf, and was disappointed to discover that the middle of each slice was undercooked (making it very chewy and slightly off-putting). We also felt that the seasoning used on the garnish (curry ?) to be completely wrong for the dishes.
This is the first time we've ever been disappointed by any aspect of dinning at Todd's. As this is my first review of the establishment I'm giving it 4stars based on past experiences and current disappointment. We will be back, but a lot hinges on the next visit.
