| - Let's just start by saying that Encore is an absolutely wonderful hotel. We have stayed at the Wynn multiple times, and we decided to try out the neighboring Encore.
From the design and aesthetics of their grand lobby, with beautiful floral arrangements and green trees, to the spot free and perfection-like cleanliness across the entire property; our stay at Encore put a smile on our face as we explored the property even further.
We spent considerable time in the resort, knowing how crazy the strip would be around the holiday weekend. This was a wise decision, as there was plenty of time to relax and soak in what Wynn and Encore has to offer.
From previous experiences staying at the Wynn, we noticed that all rooms have somewhat of a nice view. But depending on your preference, you can either have a strip view (which we always opt for), or the golf/mountain view which has more of a scenic view (sunset and distant mountains).
The casino on the Encore side is smaller compared to Wynn, but it also allows a more relaxed and less hectic, tourist prone area to gamble in, since many people that visit the Wynn from the strip don't exactly know about the Encore side, or they simply miss the passage that goes through Wynn to Encore.
And, as an added bonus, staying at the Encore allows you to enter the pool, as well as the pool at the Wynn. However, staying at the Wynn does not allow you to enter the Encore pool. The pools are heated, so even though it was mid-December desert weather, the pools were nice and toasty. Perfect for a mid-day swim as the sun was perfectly hitting all the spots in and around the pool.
As for other amenities, Encore is absolutely fantastic and the service is just up there as a 5 star hotels you'd expect anywhere else in the world. However, Vegas being Vegas, it appears that the hotel personnel sometimes gladly go the extra mile to put a smile on your face.
We have tried multiple dining spots inside the Wynn and Encore properties, and can attest to the quality and service they all provide. This time around, we ate at The Buffet (for the n'th time), serving a holiday dinner, as well as Jardin, which has a panoramic view of the Encore pool, with its relaxed atmosphere, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Casual elegance at its best.
Pro tip: Ask for a pair of slippers for yourself and your significant other. They are super comfy AND they are yours to keep! You just have to ask for them.
