  • 'Where Time Stands Still' explains the 3 wonderful days spent at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort and Spa. Time stood still the first day but unfortunately the rest of the time went by too fast! I was here for the second year in a row to celebrate my birthday. There is too much too say and all good! There is really no reason to leave the property--everything is here. Each and every staff member is genuinely interested in your satisfaction. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. There is so much to do and if you want to do nothing, you can take in the beautiful views, browse the gift shop, or sit indoors or out to enjoy music and people watch. The pool is refreshing and we spent most of our time at the adult pool and hot tub. Happy hour at Bar 1936 was outstanding with a large variety of libations at fair prices. On our last night we enjoyed a delicious gourmet dinner from Lincoln, and enjoyed meeting Executive Chef Chris who made us feel special! Breakfast at Sprouts in the Spa Building was delicious as always. Five stars are not enough for this resort. It is a village of relaxation and excellent customer service. We hope to return before next year's birthday.
