Ran through the Plaza to go to Ranch 99. They were all out of the steamed sweet white rice cakes but had other things I needed. On the way back to the car I passed by Harbor Palace and saw the painted 'dim sum' sign on their window. All dim sum places have rice cakes, right? It appeared very busy when I walked in but an older Chinese man came to the podium to ask for my order. I asked him if they had the cakes, he walked over to a nearby cart and held up the asked for cakes. I nodded and said I would like two orders. He went to a little side table to box them and came back with them in a bag. He said the charge was $5. Which I paid in cash.
At home I opened the styrofoam container to find two 5x5 inch squares about 1/2 inch thick. That was 2 orders for $5! They were just okay, taste wise...
If this is an indicator of their food, my recommendation is to pass.
