I was excited to try this place out, especially since they have gluten free waffles - a rare treat for me with my wheat allergy. The portion was generous with a side of fruit and salad (although I paid extra $2 for whipped cream which consisted of a tiny squirt from a can on each waffle - it immediately melted into a puddle). The waffles looked great, but sadly they really tasted awful - almost a bitter, sour taste. No amount of maple syrup helped. And the texture was incredibly dense, gummy and almost rubbery. I gave up after eating two of the mini waffles.
I bake a lot of gluten free cakes, cookies and muffins, and you can make delicious baked goods with beautiful consistency - you can't taste the difference. So they should be able to make a better gluten free waffle than that. Based on the other reviews, the regular waffles sound like they're really good, but if you're looking for gluten free breakfast treats here, I really wouldn't recommend it. Chai Latte was pretty good though.
