  • Melissa is amazing. I can't recommend her enough. Threading and waxing by her has always been on point. Depending on what you're waxing, it can be a really awkward situation, but Melissa is super lighthearted and makes you feel comfortable (well, as comfortable as you can be while getting a wax). I recommend her to all of my friends! I've tried quite a few waxing salons in Pittsburgh and across the country....Pittsburgh Beauty Bar is the tops. I do have to say I wasn't completely thrilled with my gel mani. I'm not going to let that reduce my 5 star rating, but I feel like I should throw it out there. My gel polish chipped only 3 days after normal everyday life (wasn't doing anything crazy or out of the ordinary). I'm not sure if I'll go back for nails....but maybe I'll give it a second shot.
