| - We usually expect the lines at a Walmart to be long. As well as the service to be horrid. Let's face it, they don't get paid enough to deal with the amount of rude, violent, and cynical people they see daily. And god forbid they actually open enough registers.
Their Customer Service up front is always horrid. The girls at the registers allow people to cut in line or service people they know or think should go first. It's very agitating. That's what dropped this down to a four out of five. Every time we've come to make a return, exchange, or online pickup, there's always an agitating problem that could have been resolved by the woman (never have I been there when a guy is working) stationed behind the counter.
So I was very surprised when Gregory stepped in one day and helped us immensely. We wanted to purchase a basic mountain bike, but wanted to build it ourselves. Despite the same bike being pre-constructed and on the shelf, Greg got us a boxed one. He went above and beyond to help us out, even double checking back-stock to ensure we had what we wanted or more. Fantastic service from him in particular.
Another day was a young lady restocking late at night. I interrupted her, wanting to know who we should go to for car speaker access (they are locked up in a display case). She went and found the keys herself, then helped us and even took us to the cosmetics checkout and had us out in ten minutes flat. My only regret is that I cannot recall her name, despite having asked. Purple streaks at the roots of her hair, if I recall correctly. Wonderful representative.
Third time was at online pickup in the back of the store. I believe his name was Joshua (bald, facial hair). We ordered a car stereo online an hour before and it was not ready to go at that mediate moment. He went ahead and brought it to us, no issues or problems, and had us out within fifteen minutes. Nice guy, very helpful.
Each experience here began slightly agitating, only ending with wonderful people doing above average in their work environment. I'd recommend this location for luxury items, car necessities, furniture, cookware, groceries, et cetera. It's not a horrible place, it's just a typical Walmart with some really great employees.
