As someone who has always been a bit skeptical of the whole hot yoga thing, the yin class was a decent introduction to this somewhat unappealing (and untraditional) concept. There is a focus on deep concentration, stretching and holding poses (mainly the lower part of your body). The instructor was helpful and not overly new agey or annoying. He also played some good music, which I enjoyed, along with the dimly lit room, overall relaxed vibe and high proportion of males taking the class.
