| - I bought my Kia here in 2001. It's a long story, but I was not allowed to choose what new car I could buy or where. I would not have bought from Russ Darrow if I had had my choice.
We paid cash, so I feel like I might have been able to get a better deal, possibly. I did want certain options (that I would have considered basic, but for a Kia, were not standard) and the dealership did work to get the vehicle with the requested options, so that was nice.
I also had my car serviced there multiple times for the first 3-or-so years that I had the car. Their service department folks are friendly, but I don't think necessarily on top of their game, as things that they repaired would continue to be problematic, and when I began taking the vehicle to a different repair shop, they managed to fix the problem on the first try. Also, when Russ Darrow ran against Senator Russ Feingold for the US Senate, I thought to myself, "just another reason NOT to go there."
In other words, you can find better Kia dealerships and service places in Madison.
