| - What a fun place!! We went on a Saturday, and it was busy - loud and bustling - and there were so many cultures represented. I felt like I was in New York or some other city far away. The different vendors had delicious, fresh fruits and veggies, handmade desserts and pastries, every variety of fresh meat, and even things like cherry preserves!
Bring your cash (most stands had credit card minimums), reusable bags, and a friend. Bring a coat if it's cold out - it won't be much better inside. Girls, don't wear open-toed shoes - I dodged a few puddles and the cement floor just seemed dirty.
It felt so good to shop locally from the people who actually raise and prepare the food, and the prices were very fair. It was a really fun atmosphere, and while it's an hour away from my home, I think we'll be back.
