I used to come here a lot to do computer work with a friend.
Overall, this place has really nice decor (think minimal hipster with gold accent), a nice pastry selection, and some great lattes and drinks. It's good for busting out your laptop and getting some work done, since many people are there to do the same. And there's lots of airy open-space working spaces - although it can get crowded on a weekend.
The good:
- Awesome working space with large windows, can get crowded on peak times (weekend afternoons)
- Nice lattes and pastries, good place to sit and stay for a while
- Decor is very nice, kind of like a pinterest-dream...almost a bit too hipster
- One of my favorite places to bust out my laptop and work. Nice big tables and lots of light
The bad:
- Since its main working space is shared with Brainstation (a tech college-type establishment), they tend to close early and by 6 or 7 pm (I think) on weeknights.
- Wall outlets are really out of the way. I've had to dive below the seats into the dusty underground one too many times in order to get power.
- A word of caution: the WIFI in by their barista area SUCKS. Only worth coming here with a laptop if the interior working space is available.
