  • We finally got all the tests done and surgery was scheduled and completed in August 2015. Dr. White was not able to get the tumor out but he did do his very best and we were appreciative of that. The ICU staff on Barrow's side of St. Joseph's hospital were helpful and kept a good observation on my wife during her stay. However, trust me when I say some of their staff are paranoid and on edge. They blame it on the area that the hospital is in. So don't be surprised if some of the nurses and other staff come off with an attitude or non-chalant attitude. You just need to keep their asses in check and let them know that you are not the one but you might end up with security being called like they were on me but I don't care. Respect & show compassion. You are in healthcare and its your job to do so. Can't handle it? Move on to another field.
