  • We recently moved here from CT. I was in desperate need of a cut/color so I asked around for a place to go that is chemical free. The Green Room Organic Hair Lounge was recommended and Joey in particular. I just returned from a haircut/color with Joey. I purchased a groupon and was not quite sure what to expect. Especially, when I was told that there were in a basement. When I came off the elevator I couldn't believe what a beautiful place. It didn't have the chemical odor that some salons. I was warmly greeted by Janelle. She had called me yesterday to move up my apt. which I did. She thanked me. I explained to Joey that I was looking to go lighter in color and to take 2 - 3 inches off. He recommended having a light wash so that the lighter color would take. (I asked to have my hair colored lighter at the last salon and ended up with the same color and no dimension.) Joey did a fabulous job. Perfect color and beautiful cut. I have to say that this is one of the nicest salons I have been to in years. On my way out Janelle again thanked me for coming earlier. Which I thought was very professional. I did take notice of the other stylists as well. Everyone came out looking great. I can't thank Joey enough. You can't do any better for a stylist.
