Spent a few days in Scottsdale for work and this was the hotel that they booked. It's a very modern, BRIGHTLY colored hotel. The lobby had bright yellow, green, and orange walls. The doors to the rooms were bold colors with purple carpet. I couldn't remember my room number, but I knew I had a red door lol.
The rooms are separated by 5 buildings. The building number is painted on the hallway wall, but it still took me a couple of days to figure out where I was going. Good thing every door was red lol.
There's a nice pool area with a hot tub. The hot tub was "hot" but the timer with the jets didn't work...not the worst thing in the world. They have their own restaurant and bar that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My favorite part was hanging out in the outdoor patio. They had a little fireplace which was perfect for the cool evenings.
Can't complain about the service at all. Everyone was helpful when I had questions to ask. Maybe it's more of a Wisconsin thing, but I had the sudden urge to play cribbage, and the front desk staff did a great job helping trying to find a bar that might have a cribbage board. They even called a couple of places and asked. I appreciated the effort. I would definitely stay here if I was in the area again.
