Early this year, I took my first trip to Vegas. Because I was bringing my kiddo with me, I opted to stay in Fremont, where hopefully, things would be a bit more chill. I was happy with my decision and we had a lovely time with family for a graduation weekend.
The price of the room was excellent - purchased on Expedia.com. The hotel had almost everything I needed and was within walking distance of everything else. My kiddo's only requirement of any hotel we stay in is that it have a pool, which they do. The shark tank was a plus as well as the slide! During the day, get there early to grab a seat.
Parking was easy in the garage near the tower we were in. If you like coffee, you should probably figure out what to do. The line at the Starbucks near the pool is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous at pretty much all hours of the day. The other Starbucks on the other side of the building is not as busy but has shorter hours. You can use the Keurig in your room but I'm not sure it's worth the price.
I only ate once at the buffet at the hotel for a family gathering. The selection was pretty good but the wait for a big group was very long. For the rest of my trip, I ate at different places around Fremont because walking around outside was preferably to the casinos at times. Have I mentioned that I don't gamble?
Overall, it was a quiet, pleasant stay. Staff members were nice and the hotel was clean.
