I've been to Wasabi more times than I can remember. I figured it's time to update my review. Unfortunately, I have nothing new or exciting to add. Wasabi is my son's favorite restaurant and he's only 7! Is he spoiled or what? The place is pricey ($25/plate on average), so we only go on special occasions for the kids.
I usually order the veggie hibachi to save a couple bucks. The portions are large, which I love. The yum yum sauce is still as good as usual, but our chef wasn't much of an actor on this visit. He didn't do nearly the number of tricks that the other chefs usually do except for the onion volcano, sake, and throwing food at us. He missed everyone's mouth except mine, and that's partially because I can catch food with the best of em.
Wasabi is good, but we only go when the kids want to go on special occasions. I would consider having sushi, but I could probably find similar quality for less cash nearby at Kumo.
