We purchased a used minivan from Camelback Ford. During the test drive I noticed the brakes seemed to be squishy. I asked about the brakes and was assured they were inspected and were no problem. I asked them to inspect the brakes again. They said they did and that nothing was wrong. They said that these minivans have brakes like this so that it's a softer stop. I'm the dummy for believing it. We purchased the van and literally 20 days later we were involved in a rear end car wreck because I could stop in time. The van was totaled. Fortunately everyone was okay but I knew there was a problem with the brakes. I talked with a friend who is a mechanic about how the brakes were behaving. He said it sounded like the master cylinder was letting brake fluid by which results in no stopping power. At the wreck I slammed on the brakes but there were no skid marks on the road. I don't have any documented proof but I will never buy a car from here again. They sell unsafe cars to customers.
