| - Kohl's advertised on television (several years ago) that they had a no hassle return policy, indicating one could bring just about anything at all, any time at all, for a return or store credit. Probably three years after seeing that commercial that stuck in my head for some reason, I came across a bag of bras during a recent move. The five bras still had tags on them but as far as I know did not indicate they were from Kohl's. As I no longer had a need for them and did have a few needs for our new house, I decided to put their advertisement to the test and return the bras for store credit.
The young lady at the customer service counter was cheerful and willing to help me, even with the chore of untangling bra straps from hangers and such. I'm embarrassed to say that a couple bras were soiled a bit, from what I don't know, maybe just from being shoved around in the back of my truck or? who knows. This, to my surprise did not make the young lady gasp or refuse the bras for return, or anything else I was half expecting. She continued on her cheerful, efficient way, sorting bras from hangers and scanning price tags for my refund.
A few minutes later I was practically running down the isles looking for anything I could use in my new house, store credit card in my hand, I was a bit manic because it looked as though absolutely everything in the store was marked down anywhere between 30 and 60 percent or more!
After a couple hours of browsing and deciding and changing my mind again, I finally made my way to the check out register. The things I wanted to purchase totaled over $60 but due to the store wide sale I only spent a little over $30! My favorite purchase i a plush, soft, thick, amply sized bath towel that was regular $30 and on sale for only $11.
The young lady at the register was just as cheery and efficient as the first. She handed me a "$10 gift coupon" to spend before Aug. 2, and it requires no minimum purchase. Her good nature and beautiful smile made my day.
Kohl's here (on Valley View) has a fantastic crew, great prices and even better sales on crazy- high end items that suit my taste.
This just became my favorite place to shop, sorry Home Depot and Harbor Freight!
