rev:text	NOT A HIPSTER = NOT WELCOME!! Stand-offish staff of world weary 20 year olds. Can be 10% full and customers ignored. (Today there were 3 other tables with people). I'm always kind with servers, they have a difficult job. However, my server today came up to my table with the worst attitude I've ever had in a server. Now she gets some kudos for making the effort to walk over to my table. However, her face indicated that I was obviously intruding on her. I politely asked her to repeat what she said b/c I could not hear her (like a lot of other people, I sometimes have a little trouble hearing with background noise. Plus she was kind of standing behind me and not really talking to my face). I'd obviously crossed the line--this was going to require 10 seconds of her time. She got really sharp with me, rolled her eyes, sighed, etc. I was frustrated & was rude in return, which is completely out of character for me. Went in for some quiet time after work, left with a knot in my stomach. I wanted so badly to like this place, I've tried it 5-6 times over the years. Probably stay in business b/c of morons like me. No more. Service/attitude consistently bad. Very, very, very unwelcoming, no eye contact, smiles--you know, things that come naturally to most folks. The reviews indicate that service has been an issue for years. Given that they are doing nothing to improve it, I can only hope they go out of business so a more deserving business can use the cool little space. NOTE TO PERSONS WITH SERVICE ANIMALS: You may wish to read a review further down indicating that an individual's service dog was not welcome here.
