  • Came here with my friend who is a captain (about to be a Major) in the air force and had my ID out and ready upon arrival, but the airman at the gate didn't even check it. I was given a quick tour of the grounds and got a glimpse of the fighter jets by the hangers and then saw the retired planes out in the park by the Frisbee golf section. Later I went into the BX and pretended to shop and they carry everything you would expect to find at a Target or Macy's or nice sporting goods store. The base has a movie theater, new gym with an indoor track and pool but no bowling alley. It's pretty much brick and mortar buildings everywhere. If you're a flight enthusiast it's definitely a place to checkout!
