  • After having an aprea from the Rika Arepa food truck a few weeks back, I wanted to come back here to compare. Bottom line, this place is good, but not nearly as good as Rika. Between the 2 times I've been here, I've had the garlic shrimp, shredded beef, pepiada, and fried plantains. Out of all of these, the fried plantains stand out more than the sandwiches. The fillings for the arepas are decent, but they're just missing something...like maybe plantains?! I think this is maybe why I liked Rika so much- they had plantains in the sandwich! The shredded beef would be taken to a whole new level with this simple addition. The two sauces I was offered were good, especially the spicy green one, but once again I liked the 2 sauces from Rika better. This place will do for a quick fix for an arepa craving, but to really curb my craving I'll need to go on a food truck hunt!
