  • I know, I know..... This is a chain. I have been to the hofbrau in Germany. While everything is based on this restaurant, I prefer the Pittsburgh version. Service is always so much better. While the pretzels are clearly better in Germany, the food and beer are on par. I am a fan of schnitzel with hefe wiezen beer. I get the liter because it is my favorite. The down side to this place is it is extremely loud..... So keep this in mind....
