I waited to post this negative review until I gave McDonald's a chance to respond to my incident report, but that did not happen.
I usually come to this McDonald's with my daughter due to the indoor playground. On my previous trip I got my usual half cut sweet tea. Unfortunately for me I sucked a bug up through my straw. Initially I thought it was a piece of ice and spit it out when it didn't dissolve in my mouth. To my horror it was a ugly black bug.
I went up to the counter and told an employee. She said "what do you want me to do about it" so I asked to see a manager. The manager told me there was absolutely no way a bug could of got into my tea because they keep careful watch on it. (Yet everytime I visit this location, the lid is never on right or not on at all.) I was not even offered a refund or an apology. She took an incident report with my phone number and email. I have yet to hear anything back and it's been months, so I'm assuming I never will.
(I've also submitted a complaint on their website and heard nothing back)
