| - No good Pinots under $80 by the glass - they either lack complexity or contain an overpowering acidity. However not all is lost, they do have great Pinots, but nothing thrifty. When we sent one back, the host/manager or what our server called the "wine guy" came to our table proceeded to regurgitate his "favorites" and "other alternatives" evidently prompted in large part by the handy-dandy wine guide he played with in his hands. I remember giving 5th grade book reports with more elegance, but to be fair I will say I am sure he was attempting to ensure a great experience, however, it came across as unrefined and regimented. The food was ok, Voodoo Penne was delicious as usual, but the Mushroom Agnolotti was dry and lacked some depth in flavor. The restaurant was beautiful, well kept, and friendly not a disaster, but many things were left to be desired.
