Disappointed was how we felt this past Saturday morning after breakfast at the Flying Biscuit in Charlotte. Having frequented the original in mid-town Atlanta when we lived there and eaten my send-off breakfast at the Roswell location when I started my AT thru-hike I am a veteran of the establishment and the Charlotte location does not do the name justice. The biscuit was a heavy lump of dough - no 'flying' to it. The omelette was also flat - totally deflated. The pancake my husband was served was almost burnt on one side (the down side of course), it was replaced but honestly wasn't much better - dense and not very tasty. The grits were okay. Sorry, this is one place I would avoid.
