| - This Bar, the Casino which it is in, the bartender, and servicing hostesses all combined are absolutely horrible. If I could give it a negative rating, I would. The bar is situated outside of the Rio Theater where we watched the WOW show. This theater caters to families with people of all ages. My 5 yrs old asked for water after the show was over so I approached the bar to buy it. Standing there was a blond cocktail hostess with a tray of all types of drinks including bottles of water. My child was standing near the fence about 5 feet away when I asked to purchase the water. She refused to serve a sealed bottle of water to me because my child was standing there and she stated that she was not allowed to serve water where there is a child. How ridiculous is that??? She wasn't serving to the child and most importantly she wasn't serving alcohol. Some common sense would help. Ultimately after about 5 minutes of waiting, the same 4oz bottle of water which would otherwise be free at the slots or tables was sold to me for $2.50. The hostess tried flagging down the bartender about 5 times. I finally flagged him down so I could simply buy a bottle of water to curb the thirst of a 5yr old little girl. Shame on the Bar, Casino, bartenders and most importantly the rude hostess. By the way, I had treated my party of 16 to the Carnival Buffet at Rio to celebrate my little girl's 5th birthday the day prior which cost me over $600. The same group also spent quite a bit of their hard earned dollars gambling away at Rio before the event and we spent another $560 for tickets to take 10 people to the WOW show. This is not a way to treat customers who keep you employed!!!! No customer, regardless of who they are, how old they are and how much they blew away at your installation should ever be refused a sealed bottle water. You can try to justify rules rules rules, let me tell you that common sense and proper judgement always supersede dumb rules.
