Go in there any old weeknight and order delicious lamb stew served with fresh bread. Be seated promptly and the server is right there. They have a large drink selection from the bar and get your order right.
Go there on a St. Patrick's day that happens to be a Saturday morning with a rugby match playing on the television. Expect a different experience altogether! We had a twenty minute wait in the cold. It took forever for the waitress to even take our drink order. They carry Smithwickes Ale, thank goodness for that.
However my ale was brought to me in a plastic cup. I got my special food menu and lo and behold, no lamb stew. I settled for corned beef and cabbage. It came watery and served in an aluminum tray. I then ordered a Bushmill's whiskey neat, it came to me on the rocks in a plastic cup. I told the waitress that I ordered it neat. She took it back to the bar, was gone ten minutes and returned with the same cold plastic cup with the ice strained out.
Meanwhile the gentleman seated next to my table, who arrived after we did was drinking out of bar ware. I would have given them five stars except this one bad experience.
