  • God awful customer service by the "supervisor" herself. I was approved for an account a month ago, via online, but for some strange reason the money from my Wells Fargo account wasn't transferring over to officially "open" the account. NOT because of being denied, it was completely Wells Fargo's behalf on this to blame. So I decided to deposit in person to see if that would have been better, I was told by the teller that my account had been closed and when trying to re-apply it wouldn't let her and came back as "denied". She handed me a number to call but the automatic answering system would hang up. So I called customer service to ask them instead, and lo and behold they approved me right away, even letting me know that NO submission had been done inside the branch. Again, Wells Fargo wasn't transferring the money over (again, their fault, nothing to do with U.S Bank "denying" me over other banks) and so I came back to try to deposit in person again since I knew for sure this time I had the account 100%, or so you'd think right? After coming in, the male teller claimed he didn't "work" with accounts and needed to get the supervisor. Instead of just simply explaining that I wasn't able to deposit because the account is still "pending" she completely took the whole thing another direction to where she claimed I was trying to find a way around the system to open an account, that "we do communicate with each other so when you're denied here and try to call to open an account another way, we already know you were denied because it shows in our system " ... after I just explained that I was approved BEFORE the first time I stepped into this branch the prior time. I told her I was approved over the phone, I have an account and even have online banking, so I was clearly not denied. She kept this going for about 3 minutes, claiming I don't have an existing account and that I tried to "cheat the system" in other words. In the end she said "well we're unable to make a deposit at this time because it is still pending" .. THAT IS ALL SHE HAD TO SAY SINCE THE BEGINNING. Not accuse & assume I did something. "Not saying you did that." Is exactly the type of thing you tell a customer when you ARE saying I did that. What a crappy supervisor! Nevertheless, I automatically called customer service immediately after leaving the branch and even the representative over the phone was confused as to how she's seeing a denied application when I clearly have an account. DO NOT COME TO THIS BRANCH. She needs to find a new job, she clearly dislikes customer service her and isn't good at this specific field.
