  • I visited b&t nail salon earlier today to get pedicures and manicures done for two friends and I (spur of the moment thing) which they graciously said was ok (both is $50 for French tips on the fingers; $45 for both without French) Everything was ok until I was sat down for my French manicure; which I chose a silver tip for (not the typical white). I had kicked the habitat recently of chewing my nails so had white grown out on all my fingers. My gentleman who did my toenails and fingernails trimmed my fingernails down so much that there is not any white left at all. He then proceeded to do the worst French manicure I have ever seen. I walked my friend to her car because I didn't want to complain in front of her. I came back and asked to speak to the manager. They told me that they were busy and that they couldn't speak to me right now. I told them I'd wait until they were free; even if it was a long wait as they were saying it would be. The guy who did my sets came over and I showed him his work, explained that they didn't come out as they should, and that he cut all my natural nails off. He said he would redo them and could I come back later? I told him I couldn't come back and that no I was still wanting to speak to the manager. I waited and the manager turned out to be one of the other women working. She said she could redo them but not in silver. She took off the polish and tsked at my nails and said they were too short. I replied that 'they weren't too short when I came in; he trimmed them down to that length'. She painted my right hand in the French white tips and wiped the excess off with that brush tool. I took one look (mind you I had showed her what proper French tips should look like too) and asked her to take the polish off. I told her that wasn't what we had talked about (the white tip was halfway up my nail bed; when it should literally just be the TIP; unless on fake acrylic nails) and asked for the polish to be taken off and for a refund to be given. She took the polish off and refused to give a refund! I left and went to the salon down the street who were more than happy to fix this salons mistake and take my money. They encouraged me to come back anytime and did a fantastic job to boot! DONT use this nail salon; use Kenny's nail center down the street instead (401 wood street). They'd be happy to help you out when you use b&t and they mess up everything.
