  • I'm commenting on the basic tour, not the college experience as a whole. (I was happy when I got to Yelp and saw the great reviews of U of W as a school. Sounds like a great place. Might change our mind and take a second look.) The tour was OK. It was hot. There was a lot of construction. There is a lot of wear-and-tear on the buildings, minus the state-of-the art business campus! The bathrooms at south Union were clean. The food at the south Union was good. Parking was a breeze but a little tight. It was $6 to park, which I was annoyed with. Other colleges have a pass for free parking or they can validate. I liked the filtered water fountains to reduce plastic water bottles. Our tour guide was nice and informative, BUT I wish we could've seen the inside of the library or the inside of the other great places he described from the outside. I also wish we could've discussed what the various groups were doing around campus. Looked like team-building exercises. Guess I could've asked more questions but was too overheated. Maybe we were on the wrong tour. We'll be back, having since read their yelp reviews, but will make sure we select the right tour package.
