Gosh, I did not anticipate the sheer size of what I was ordering. I ordered a lot of food assuming it would be small portions of everything! I was wrong.
I ordered two appetizers and a main course. They didn't have a whole lot of veg options but the ones they had looked totally delicious so I didn't mind! I got crispy tofu. Came with jalapeƱos, cilantro and peanuts! A bit spicier than I expected but it was actually incredible. The sauce with the slight sweetness, spice and cilantro was amazing. The peanuts neutralized it perfectly. It was a huge bowl. I couldn't even finish half!
For my second appetizer, I ordered the squash dumplings. You can either steam them or fry them and I chose steamed. Really good, also surprisingly spicy. The squash and mushrooms actually went well together and the sauce added a salty flavor. There was an appropriate amount of this appetizer.
I ordered a completely vegetarian version of the pad thai. They have a vegetarian suace they sub it with and even include vegetables. I thought it was pretty tasty. I got very nervous because of how insanely large it was! I felt like I could have fed at least 3 other people with what I was attempting to tackle. I liked it but maybe cut down on the size!
The service was just okay. Very friendly but also very slow. We waited a long time without water which was not pleasant with the surprisingly spicy food.
