This is one of the oldest pubs in Toronto and women were not even allowed in here until the 1900's........... talk about old school!
We came here on a sunday morning for brunch and sat on the patio with a slight breeze.
The brunch menu ranged from 5:50 - 7 dollars, with the full menu also available. The service was minimalistic for the most part, but once the food was ordered, it didn't take TOO TOO long to come out.
I ordered the eggs benny with hollandaise on the side. The eggs were over poached, and didn't run as I cut into it... I really didn't have any expectations to be honest. The english muffin tasted old, but the potatoes were welll seasoned (previously frozen, I'm sure).
I'm sure this place is the place to be for a great beer selection.... in terms of hangovers - if you want ultimate grease to soak up the alcohol, this is a good start.
