| - I've been working out at Shape Up for 3 months now after a long hiatus from exercise/health. In the short time I've been there I've regained a love for being healthy, and I'm seeing major improvements in my stamina, strength and weight.
I work out with Gabby 3x a week- Gabby is amazing... really attentive, totally focused on helping me improve and feel good. If I'm doing something the wrong way, she shows me how to do it better. She pushes me but is open to feedback, committed to keeping me healthy and injury free, encouraging, fun and dedicated to making sure I stick with my new-found love of exercise.
Michael, the gym owner, checks in on me every time I'm there and helps keep me focused on working hard and eating healthy.
The gym is small but never feels crowded, and the intimacy creates a collegial atmosphere among the trainers and the clients. Everyone knows everyone by name- they all say hello and offer encouragement. I've never felt uncomfortable there for a minute.
If you are like me... someone who struggles with sticking to an exercise plan and who works out best with 1:1 coaching and encouragement, you need to check out Shape Up. They will help you- they really will. I'm not one to post shirtless before/after pictures of myself on Yelp, but I've made a huge improvement in my life, my fitness, my health and my happiness in only a few months, and if I can do it, you probably can to.
