  • A classic in the city of Charlotte. Since 1945, The Diamond has been serving up delicious food with a neighborhood-restaurant feel and a jukebox playing in the corner. My favorite appetizer has to be their fried pickles. Their entree list spans from classic Southern to Greek to Italian to American burgers, hot dogs and fries. They have amazing sandwich options and delicious desserts. My typical order is their Greek Salad with Chicken and a side order of Sweet Potato Fries; I have also had their Crab Cakes which are a great option. Being in Plaza Midwood, the vibe is pretty hip and the view of uptown is one you can't beat!
