  • I heard about this donut place from the Charlotte Observer before, and was curious about its donuts for a very long time. I run across a Groupon deal for this place and decided to check it out. We were greeted by the friendly and beautiful lady owner. The store opens at 7:00 am on Sat and we were there at 7:45 am. Already a lot donuts were gone but they were making more donuts back in the kitchen. The donuts are huge like a size of my palm. Unlike other donuts, the donuts are square shapes. In my opinion, they taste like a pastry to me. The donuts are soooooo delicious. If you are a chocolate lover, you will love the chocolate ganache. All their flavors are so darn good. They even have the cappacinco donut flavor. The donuts are not labled but the nice lady owner will explain to you what kind of fillings are inside of each donuts. My dad is not a sugarly person and even himself ate most of it. Their donuts are love ovely sweet like Krispy Kreme. The donuts still taste great after one day. Way better than MJ donuts.The donuts are at the pricey end. One donut is 3-3.50. Without the Group deal, half dozen is 12 and dozen is 24. It is definetely worth the price.
