  • Yesterday, Rob the owner of Coconut Contracting wrote a 1 star review on our business page. Not sure what our company has to do with the immature way Rob is handling our dispute with his invoicing and double taxation! We were going to let a competent court having jurisdiction over the matter settle this but since Rob prefers to go this route...so be it. My photos show the poor workmanship of the turf Rob installed. After the project was complete Rob tried to "slip" in additional line items to cover his cost of having another company come out to fix his shoddy work. When I pointed this out to Rob he turned into a child having a temper tantrum. My biggest issue with Rob is being charged tax on labor. Everyone knows labor is not taxed in Arizona. As a business owner Rob should know that! My guess is Rob now owes everyone he ever did a job for a refund of the taxes he overcharged them. I find it odd that Coconut Contracting and his wife's "so called" law firm have the same address. Just like the other reviews, beware of going into business with Rob as he has free, unlimited legal aide and will stop at nothing if he doesn't get his way. Rob is very good at twisting the truth regarding actual events or what really happened during our project. It's almost like he can twist it enough and then it's reality. For the record, I don't write in "pseudonym" as you suggest. This is me. This is my yelp account and review. There are obviously other people that are unhappy with Robs work and the unethical way he does business. When we first met Rob he was so paranoid over the 1 star review from Cathy that he cleverly justified it to us. Looking back I should have seen the signs. I too will update my review as things unfold. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. This morning I was contacted by Rob to take down my review. Rob is what is known as an offender. And just like Cathy's 1 star review, Rob is now arguing with me because in Robs mind he is always right. He is never wrong and nothing is ever his fault. Rob is the most unprofessional business person to deal with. His response to my review just shows how he will continue to argue and justify why he is right and I am wrong. So I will leave it up to all of you if you want to do business with a person like this. As for me, all I can do is share my experience.
