  • First off, you should note that every review, including every filtered one, is five stars for this shop, except for one. Secondly, you should completely disregard the nonsensical one-star review which is clearly retaliatory, by a guy who wasn't happy with the price he got. If he knew that rail was cheaper elsewhere, he should have bought it elsewhere. Furthermore, we are talking about a Troy Delta, which is a drop-in rail that takes all of one minute to install. All you do is pull down the delta ring and snap the rail in. The fact that this guy needed it installed says everything about his firearms knowledge and competence. On to the shop. I've done many transactions here, including purchasing parts, firearms, repairs (sight adjustment on 1911), and incoming and outgoing transfers. Matt gives you personalized service and his prices not only beat all local gun shops, but are actually competitive with online gun shops. Which is saying something. I bought a very nice piece of equipment again from him last week that he sold me cheaper than I could find anywhere online, including Slickguns and Gunbroker. The only thing I have needed that The Arms Room can't deliver is accepting incoming transfers from an individual. Has to come from an FFL. So I have had to find another FFL for that. But for everything else I always use The Arms Room. Even if you aren't experienced, Matt will give you good advice and walk you through selection. Every time I have been in there he has been giving good advice to beginners and first-time gun buyers. Which again is a very rare thing for a local gun shop.
