  • If you like bbq & you like eastern nc style; check out Lancaster's. I've never been disappointed. On Friday you can do this special - pork plate w/ 2 sides & sweet tea for $8.00. Such a good deal! And they give you sooooo much food. It's easily two, maybe three meals. The service is great; I normally go with my work folks, about 8 people and they are always so accommodating. Their customer service is some of the best around. They bring all the sauces or "extras" you need, always make sure your drink is full; the basket of hushpuppies is full. Very impressive. The food is great too. But I've never ventured out and tried anything other than the pork bbq (chopped). But that vinegar sauce is real tangy. The sides - mac & cheese, green beans, fries, homemade chips, fried WHOLE okra, corn, etc; all good. I really cannot think of anything bad about this place. The only thing I'd suggest is to open one up closer to me in south Charlotte.
