Cibo is a good pizzeria that I have visited on several occasions. Their pizza crust is above average and their location in a renovated house with great patio is very enjoyable.
Now, the reason I won't give Cibo 4 or 5 stars has to do with service.
(a) The "small" antipasto is for 2 people. When you order the "large" antipasto for 4 people everything comes divisible by 3. 3 pieces of bresaola, 3 pieces of prosciutto, etc. This does not make mathematical sense.
(b) You have to pace the servers. That means absolutely do not order your pizza until you are finished with appetizers. They just don't understand the issue with bringing out a pizza 60 seconds after giving you the anitpasto.
(c) The person clearing off the table after antipasto will ask you to hold on to your silverware instead of bringing you a fresh fork and knife. I hate this and never understand why restaurants do it. What rubs salt into the wound is that if you order one dessert to split between 4 people they will then bring you 4 fresh sets of silverware.
(d) On two occasions we split a bottle of prosecco to start. on both occasions the flutes had hard water stains and these are accentuated by the collection of bubbles from the liquid trying to breakdown the hard water calcium deposits. Just like removing acid from around a car battery but not what I need as a first impression at a restaurant.
