Wow. A negative stars situation here.
Protected by a page and half of disclaimers, when you work your way through LT's system looking for basic re-fi numbers, you end up sending your information to a network of 100's of 'subsidiaries' that ALL PUT HARD INQUIRIES ON YOUR CREDIT. It is classic bait and switch.
As well, within SECONDS of clicking submit (with the expectation of receiving a list of common interest rates) you will receive an avalanche of phone calls, texts, and emails that only stop when you call LendingTree and ask them to remove your information.
But that does NOT stop the subsidiary inquiries from touching your credit. EVEN IF you don't directly approve them running your credit.
Please stay away. For your credit score and your sanity. Go to your local credit union or something. That's what I should have done.
