This was our first real-life room escape, but we'd been playing the online games for a decade, so we knew the basic beats. I was really impressed with how many puzzles they packed into the room, and how logical they all were (there was no random poking at something until it clicked).
Some of our teammates were worried about the room being scary, or gory, and thankfully there was none of that. There was a lot of ambiance, and some vaguely menacing overtones, but no jump scares or horror-movie touches -- which we appreciated.
Overall, this is obviously a labor of love by the owner and the enthusiasm is contagious.
