  • I remember coming to Dave & Andy's as a kid, and I'm not as in love as I used to be. It's still good, but I love it mostly for the nostalgia now. The raved about Birthday cake ice cream was NOT good when I sampled it. I don't like very sweet things, but I couldn't even taste the frosting. It just tasted like a very boring vanilla. I'm not sure if it was an off day, but I wasn't impressed. I opted for the cookies and cream ice cream. It has lots of cookie chunks and was yummy. Not super creamy but a good ice cream, nonetheless. The waffle cones and root beer floats I tried out were great too. The service was rude and not friendly, but I guess smelling waffle cones baking all day is really hard... Not. Not angry workers would make this place a 5 star establishment.
